The Saarinen stool has an upholstered cushion on a swivel base. A nameplate with the KnollStudio logo and the signature of Eero Saarinen is located on the underside of the base.

Base consists of cast aluminium with Rilsan coated finish for the white and black versions. The Platinum base has a polyurethane coat with transparent finish. The stool seat cushion is available in a range of fabrics and Spinneybeck leather
